Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR) is an IPL cricket franchise based in Kolkata. Its motto is ‘Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re’ (we will perform, fight and triumph). This club has a testament to the passion of its local cricket fans. While Eden Gardens remains the main ground of the club, JSCA stadium, Ranchi has also been adopted as their second home stadium.
They have regularly hosted home games for the club since 2013. Kolkata tanked in the first three editions but the change in the core team in 2011 auctions made them a well-equipped unit. They have qualified for the playoffs five times since then and have lifted the IPL title in 2012 and 2014 respectively under the leadership of Gautam Gambhir (Gauti).
Achievements:

- KKR won the title 2 times in 2012 and 2014.
- They were also the runner up of Champions League in 2014.
